Our Mission

The restaurant industry is a very difficult field. It takes a toll physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Day after day, you put on your cape to be a restaurant hero and you deal with anything and everything that life throws your way. The purpose of this podcast is plain and simple; it is to help you win at life and with your restaurant.

My name is Jose, but you can call me Pepe, as mostly everyone does. I have been in the restaurant industry for 17 years. I started working in restaurants when I was 16 years old, but I have been emerged in the culture since I was a child, as my father has been in the industry for almost 50 years. I have worked in various restaurants, from fine dining to fast casual. I currently operate our small family business with my father. I have experienced and lived through it all; the frustrations, the no shows, the complaints, the missing family events, the burns on my hands, all the times you just wanted to throw in the towel. I have all the scars of the industry. I have a Hospitality Management Degree from California State University Long Beach and a Finance Certificate from UCLA Extension. However, what really matters to me, is how I can help you navigate your restaurant life. I am right there with you, along your journey of being a restaurant hero.
